Shaky but Thankful

Yesterday afternoon David and I had a pretty scary couple of moments - and then one strong WHAM! when we smashed into a metal post off the side of the highway. We hit black ice and began to spin out of control on the road, thankfully not hitting anyone else, and finally we slid off the highway and crashed (the backside - thankfully) into a large 'Moose Jaw' sign. Needless to say, with the amount of force we hit the post, the back end of our car looks like an acordian. We are so thankful that we came out of it ok, it could have been a very different type of accident had the car spun another 60 degrees or so. Despite a little bit of soreness (Dave said he feels like he got body checked, and my neck got a little whiplash) we are doing fine. We are now just going through the logistics of getting our car repaired and making due without a vehicle until we have a lender. All of these things seem rather insignificant, however, when we think about what could have happened, and how fortunate we are. God is good!

I feel that this is a sign to indicate how you feel about moose jaw....I feel that you should leave lest you run into any further impending doom!

Love you guys sorry to hear, but glad your ok! If you were here you'd be running into the problem of fog...the kind that you can't see five feet in front of you while driving....i see it as an adventure.....kinda like blind tag....ha ha!
